Purpose of the role:
- The purpose of your role will be to help maintain and grow the financial safety of the company and of all of us!
- You will be one of the group directors of CloserRecruitment, with a scope on one region in the world.
Main mission:
You will be setting up the financial and accounting function in our start-up almost from scratch.
- Designing the financial function and processes of our start-up (mother company and daughter companies/business units)
- Selecting, configuring and implementing our new finance/accounting software solution (minimum viable product)
- Help prepare the business plans for our first business units
- Selecting local banks for our first business units
- Setting local accounting processes for our first business units (compliance, reporting, etc)
* The operations will be quite small, with each business units having only 1 employee to start with. We will start with 1 to 4 business units. But it will be good to have the foundations right.
Team:
Initially: Given that we are a small start-up, this will be a very hands-on role. You could be assisted by our freelancers. We find this is an important stage so that you get to know ins and outs well, before managing anyone.
The team will progressively grow as the company grows, and you will be leading that team.
